LEGISLATIVE OUTREACH TRAINING
In order to become a successful advocate, you need to know the basics of the legislative process
The 2025 Legislative Session will begin in January and it is more crucial than ever that you join us to fight for legislation that advances issues you care about.
During the training will discuss how an idea becomes a law and how to find information about legislation as it moves through the process.
We’ll equip you with tools and knowledge on how to provide a powerful testimony at the legislature on issues you care about, and tips for how to talk to your legislature.
Finally, we will share details of legislation we will support this session and how you can join us in ensuring groundbreaking bills can become law in Florida and how to take action.

The theme of our September meeting is “Winning in 2026” , polling and strategy to win here locally.
Our guest speaker is one of the nation’s leading pollsters and campaign consultant DOUG KAPLAN.
Doug Kaplan is the President of Kaplan Strategies and one of the nation’s leading political pollsters and consultants. Recognized as the most accurate pollster in the 2024 presidential election, Kaplan brings decades of expertise in polling, campaign strategy, and media analysis.
He previously served as President of Gravis Marketing, where he built a reputation for high-quality, reliable polling across the country. Kaplan has conducted polling for Breitbart News and served as a pollster for One America News Network. He has also consulted on more than 100 campaigns nationally and internationally, helping elect conservatives across the United States and Canada.
Through Kaplan Strategies, he continues to advise candidates and organizations, offering insights that shape winning strategies and deliver results.
We will also update on chapter events and talk about some happenings here in our local election landscape for 2026.
